Goals we hope you’ll help us achieve:
1. Keep each issue of the online version of the magazine coming – and for free.
2. Bridge gaps by reaching believers and seekers with our invaluable content and grow the audience (subscribers via email list, Facebook fans, etc.) and readership (views per issue) and help this resource to become more known and available to those who need it or might enjoy it.
3. Establish and maintain a unique position among the community as a resourceful, entertaining and educational media tool that provides the best information and in depth articles on varying viewpoints, cultural topics and world issues from Christian perspectives while also being “new believer” friendly.
4. Through donations and financial support, it could allow for printing promotional magazine copies and opportunities for awareness and evangelism i.e. giving away issues at events, and sending complimentary issues to college Christian groups, or churches and organizations to reach our readers.
5. Create new resources and materials to nurture new or mature followers of Christ. i.e. a “new believers” packet for sale (that would cover cost and fundraise for the organization) and connect with churches to distribute the resource to the “new believers” in their midst. For example, the packet would include a Bible, issue of New Identity Magazine, FAQs of new Christian, a easy to read jargon dictionary, etc.
6. Raising funds to support the hard working (currently all volunteer) staff and create opportunities for growth.
7. Grow the online community by expanding the website, making it the ultimate online resource for new Christians and those interested in learning about Christianity and Christian perspectives around the globe. This may include video and other helpful media that might interest the communities of Facebook and Twitter.
